You can expect to earn about $20.00 an hour if you are not a supervisor in construction careers. Higher-skilled trade workers, such as electricians and plumbers, get paid more than less-skilled trade workers, laborers and helpers but the earnings also vary by education, experience, and the type of work. You can expect to make anywhere from $12.00 to $40.00/hour.
