You also learn more about combining natural health practices with nutrition and fitness. Holistic health is a philosophy of medical care that sees the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life being closely interconnected. It is usually associated with alternative medicine such as the program offered by Everglades University, but is increasingly being used in mainstream medical practice as part of a broad view of patient care. Holistic and natural health may combine massage therapy, nutritional counseling, herbology, reflexology, acupressure, yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, polarity, and breathwork when working with a client or patient. You can chose to open your own private practice or work in a clinic, spa, or other area when holistic health and natural health are practiced. Since 1980, Clayton College graduates have been helping to lead this natural health revolution - and you can too! Click Here for more information.
