Expected Salary and Projected Career GrowthThe salary for those that hold an MBA degree are as varied as the jobs they can be obtained. For those in HR they can expect to earn between $50,000 to $75,000 per year. Financial analysts make on an average of $60,000 to $80,000 annually while top earners to be in excess of $500,000 for those as CEO positions. Because of the variety of jobs, pinpointing down an average salary is extremely difficult. With all the different types of careers available, the average salary falls into the range of $30,000 $140,000 per year. The expected growth is slow and not expected to change for the foreseeable future. Competition for the jobs available is fierce, but there are jobs to be had in the market. Those that have specialized may find it more difficult to obtain employment at this time. This should not discourage you from getting your weekend MBA. As the economy improves, the job market will bounce back and demand for those with this degree will be high. There are signs that the employment outlook is improving and it will continue to do so.
